Spider Initiative Ltd is a community-based organization located at Plot 7151, Spider Road - Bunamwaya. Established in the year 2000, Spider Initiative, formerly known as Spider Technologies Limited, has grown from a small company offering secretarial services, computer training, and repairs into a dynamic community-focused organization. Today, we are composed of experts in various aspects of technology, driven by our mission to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical skills. We aim to empower the community, academic institutions, and organizations by delivering high-quality IT services and training. Inspired by the spider's ability to weave intricate cobwebs connected through multiple pathways, Spider Initiative Ltd leverages technology to create networks that benefit the youth, the underprivileged, institutions, and organizations. We are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life through technology-driven initiatives that support development and progress at the community level and beyond.

Mr. Iga Vincent, the CEO of Spider Initiative Ltd, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology and a Master’s in Information and Communication Technology, along with several professional certifications in IT and management. With a rich career spanning multiple organizations, including Stichting Help Uganda Foundation in Holland, The AIDS Support Organization (TASO), AIDS Information Centre -Uganda , he has been instrumental in the design and implementation of IT infrastructures, security protocols, and IT policies.
Mr. Iga’s experience is not limited to Uganda; he has gained international exposure through his work in the Netherlands and the UK. His contributions include IT skills development workshops at ROC Aventus and conducting musical lessons at Faringdon Junior School under the UK Government’s hands-on study program.
His extensive experience in social, economic, and technical domains makes him a credible leader committed to transforming lives through Spider Initiative Ltd. Under his leadership, we continue to empower communities, bridge knowledge gaps, and deliver exceptional IT services.
The organization’s board of advisors provides strategic guidance to the management team through the CEO. This collaborative approach ensures that Spider Initiative Ltd remains aligned with its mission to create sustainable change in the communities we serve.
